A Picture’s Worth a Thousand Words
Posted by Derek and Shanna under Tanzania
We don’t have much left to say about our incredible Tanzanian safari, but a few of our pictures were just too good to keep to ourselves. Without further adieu…

hmm i thought i commented on the previos post…hmm oh well
Lovely photos. It’s like national geographic. Were you able to see any of the parks in southern tanzania?
RESPONSE:
Thanks. We were very pleased with how our photos turned out. As far as parks, we didn’t make it to Southern Tanzania this trip - next time…

Derek and Shanna,
Amazing pictures, amazing trip. In your country reports you have collected extraordinarily valuable information. And with your blog posts, you have inspired more people than you can imagine.
What’s amazing is the number of travelers and families taking long-term RTW trips - we’ve identified over 50 including more than half a dozen beginning their trips this summer.
For a fairly comprehensive list of RTW families (and travelers too), see:

Know that you have helped write the guide book for the rest of us.

Shanna and Derek,
I think you have another calling for both of you! Photography and writing. The photos of the ‘Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!!” are simply breathtaking. Take care!
